Position Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a member of the business unit’s leadership team with responsibility for optimizing performance and achieving financial and strategic goals, in partnership with its respective President. The CFO functions as the internal expert for the business unit’s financial management and provides decision-making for continued market growth. The CFO brings operational best practices to maximize financial outcomes, provider contracting/billing, and payment issues. The CFO identifies opportunities for improvement and leads the execution of financial improvement opportunities to translate financial targets into actionable operating objectives. The CFO organizes, analyzes, and presents high-value analysis and interpretation of data in support of the business unit’s finance and strategic planning functions. This job description pertains to CFOs for Hospitals, Behavioral Health, Medical Groups, and Retail Services.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Hospital Administration, or related field OR CPA required

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Ten (10) years of experience in finance and/or financial analysis in a complex healthcare environment
Five (5) years of experience and demonstrated skills in a progressive management role
