Provides leadership and management of outcomes organizationally and Critical Care areas, including Intensive Care, Transitional Care, Monitoring Support and Hemo Dialysis. Coordinates collaborative interdisciplinary strategies for Joint Commission preparation and processes for ongoing compliance to regulatory standards. Develops departmental capital and operating budgets. Provides safe practices for patients in all aspects of patient care activities. Maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.
- BS preferred. Knowledge of critical care. Current BLS required.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP and NIMS training required within 90 days of employment.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse license
- A minimum of three years clinical and two years management experience preferred, prior Critical Care experience preferred
