Essential Functions: | ||||
1 | Utilizes professional knowledge, skills, and judgment to promote safe, economical, and effective drug therapy. | |||
2 | Practices in accordance to the Texas Pharmacy Practice Act, regulatory agencies, and hospital policies and procedures. | |||
3 | Develops and supervises support personnel in preparation and distribution of drugs. | |||
4 | Develops and conducts educational programs for patients, family, and healthcare professionals. | |||
Secondary Functions: | ||||
1 | All other duties required by the Director. | |||
Qualifications: | ||||
Education/Skills: | Graduate of an American Council of Pharmaceutical Education accredited School of Pharmacy; maintains all required CE. | |||
Licensure: | Current (or eligible for) license to practice pharmacy in the State of Texas and the State of Arkansas; holds certifications as required by the State; Current BLS. | |||
Experience: | A minimum of one (1) year hospital experience is preferred. Salary range $55-$75/hour Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
