Chest Pain/Stroke Program Coordinator (Registered Nurse)
Coordination, development and implementation of the organizational multidisciplinary Stroke and Chest Pain Center Programs. Assessment and analysis of outcomes to include data collection, data entry and management of databases (i.e., Accreditation Conformance Database, NCDR Registry, AHA Get With the Guidelines, STEMI, Mission Life, Truven Health Analytics, Texas RDC, etc). To coordinate collaborative interdisciplinary strategies for Regulatory Committee preparation and processes for ongoing compliance to regulatory standards. Develops, oversees, and continually assesses protocols and clinical pathways for the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of patients presenting with cardiovascular conditions.
- Current Texas or Compact State RN licensure.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred or related area.
- A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience
- Current BLS required
- ACLS within 6 months
- NIMS training within 6 months.
