Job Description

Utilizes professional knowledge, skills, and judgement to promote safe, economical, and effective drug therapy. Practices in accordance to the Texas Pharmacy Practice Act, regulatory agencies, and hospital policies and procedures. Develops and supervises support personnel in preparation and distribution of drugs. Develops and conducts educational programs for patients, family, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an American Council of Pharmaceutical Education accredited School of Pharmacy; maintains all required CE.
  • Current (or eligible for) license to practice pharmacy in State of Texas and the State of Arkansas.
  • Holds certifications as required by State; Current BLS.
  • A minimum of one (1) year hospital experience preferred.
